For total portability, the optional 12 volt power inverter allows the plating system to be powered by an automotive cigarette lighter.

A: The Gold Effects' water based solutions have been specially formulated not to harm automotive paint. The solutions only react to conductive surfaces. The paint on the car is non-conductive and therefore is unaffected by the plating process.
12. Q: How can emblems or girlls on a car be electroplated when they are made of plastic?
A: Most items on a car are made with a plastic base. The base is nickel coated and then chrome plated from the factory. It does not matter that the base is plastic as long as a conductive outer coating exists to plate to.
13. Q: Can the Gold Effects' system deposit any other metal besides gold?
A: Yes, the Gold Effects' plating systems can deposit copper, silver, brass, nickel, and chrome as well as gold.
14. Q: What happens should you have service problem?
A: In the rare instance of a breakdown, all you have to do is call to our support department. You should also know that prior to any system being released for shipment, each and every component undergoes extensive testing and must meet our acceptance standards.
